Why come to Morecambe Bay

Here at Morecambe Bay we are committed to providing all trainees with a stimulating, satisfying and rewarding experience with an enjoyable educational programme across 3 years. Teaching is delivered by a motivated education team, experienced local trainers and supportive consultants from university hospitals of Morecambe Bay . We encourage and foster adult learning with predominately small group teaching methods.

We offer excellent educational environments provided by trainers with many years of experience and knowledge. Our scheme has smaller numbers allowing a more personal approach to learning and education for you coupled with an excellent record in assisting trainees to pass the MRCGP.

You will be allocated an Educational supervisor who will follow you throughout your training programme and will eventually become your ST3 trainer in their GP practice. All the secondary care teams are committed to addressing the learning needs of our GP trainees and work closely with the GP program directors to achieve this. Trainers and consultants have good working relationship which we feel benefit training.
